PBO is currently the commercial organic high-strength fiber with the strongest comprehensive performance, golden yellow filament, divided into two categories:

1. AS Raw Yarn Type: Standard strength, 3.5% elongation at break, better flexibility, mainstream for woven fabrics

2. HM Modulus: High-temperature heat treatment, doubled modulus, only 2.5% elongation, specialized for high-end composites and bulletproof applications

🔹Basic physical parameters:Density 1.55g/cm³ (lighter than basalt / glass fiber / carbon cloth, heavier than UHMWPE)

🔹Decomposition temperature: 650°C (no melting, the heat resistance ceiling for organic fibers)

🔹LOI (Limiting Oxygen Index) 68, inherently non-combustible, does not melt or drip when exposed to, low smoke, no shrinkage

🔹Tensile strength 5.8GPa, modulus 270GPa, strength ≈ 1.5 times that of aramid, 10 that of steel
