A semi-finished composite material consisting of neatly and parallelly arranged unidirectional continuous carbon fibers impregnated with a quantitative amount of thermosetting resin (mainly epoxy, with a small amount of phenolic / polyimide), stored at low temperatures, and equipped with a release film; the fibers are spread in only one direction, providing extremely high longitudinal strength and relatively weak transverse strength, while multi-layer cross-plying can achieve balanced stress distribution in all directions.
